Money, Money, Money

Parker thought it was his lucky day when he lost his top tooth. I've been trying to pull both of his top teeth for several days now but no go. We've tried biting apples and tonight he brushed his teeth a little too hard and one fell out. I know Mother's are supposed to be loving and supportive but come on look at his teeth. I had to take a close-up of his "redneck" teeth. I'm saying silent prayers that he will soon loose the other two top jacked up ones. Gordon told him that he would get more money from the tooth fairy if he lost two teeth at once. So here he is trying to get the other money making tooth. The more teeth that come out the more money I get.

IT WORKED!!! The ToothFairy did not forget this time. How much did the ToothFairy give? A $1.25 a tooth. He scored $2.50 that night and bright and early (6:00 A.M.) he was nudging me asking if we could go to the store and buy Pokemon cards.
Oh Happy Day for Parker! He scored, I swear when I was a kid losing my teeth I got a quarter. I guess the government isn't the only one hiking up prices.

Sew Cute!

My sisters got their sew on so I thought I would post my latest projects for my new bundle of joy. I made this car seat canopy tent instead of using a blanket to cover the baby. It has velcro straps so it won't blow off and it protects baby from sun, wind, rain and people touching.
The underside is brown with blue polka dots.

Isn't my baby so cute sporting his new car seat cover.
I made this whole baby set burp cloth, pee-teepee and minky blanket. First time I actually used a blanket binding.
These are the funniest. The pee-pee teepee or sprinkle cap. Yes, for the you know what. Baby boys are unpredictable it's best to be prepared. Easy project and handy for the first month.

Introducing Baby Boy #4

We added another boy to our family on Tuesday June 30 at 2:10 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and is 19 inches long. He and Parker weighed the same at birth so maybe he'll grow solid like Parker. Dylan was the biggest at 7 lbs 14 oz and he is my smallest boy. Go figure. Sam was the longest at 20 inches. Anyways drum roll please............... his name is
LOGAN DAVID THOMPSON
surprise I know! Being our last baby I had a hard time deciding. Thanks Doc for the instinct pep talk. My Dr. told me to go with my gut feeling so I did.
He was vampire pale when he came out I thought I had gotten bitten by Edward.

He has lots of dark hair, but it looks like it will lighten up like Sam's did. Mommy, Baby and Daddy are all doing ok. We had a scare with him after my water broke his heart rate dropped dangerously low and my Dr. called for backup and the OR was on stand-by for a c-section because I was only dilated to a 6. Gordon had left to get lunch and the nurse asked me where he could be reached she wanted him there ASAP. There were lots of nurses just waiting. I was trying to keep from crying. My Mom walked in on the excitement unsure what was going on. Then Gordon came in and saw my Mom crying and me scared and he said I was only gone for 20 minutes and chaos breaks out. He held my hand and I started crying. After many minutes and moving positions, replacing machine cords baby decided to cooperate and his heart rate improved. When he came out the cord was wrapped around his neck resulting in all the drama.

My cute boys. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Sam gets grumpy when we let his brothers have a turn holding baby Logan. Sam goes nose to nose with Logan and says "hi baby" over and over. We found him hanging over the port a crib trying to take his hat off to rub his head.
We are all doing well. But I did miss having my camera girls (sisters) in the delivery room with us. Gordon stepped it up and took some great shots. We'll see how our first night at home goes.
Logan thanks for coming to our family. WE love you.
